D.V.H.R.C.D.A.

It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it describes us perfectly – "The Dyfnant and Vyrnwy Horse Riding and Carriage Driving Association”.

We’ve already won the BHS Carriage Driving Access Award, and we’ve been asked to deliver seminars and advice from South Wales to Northern Ireland.

We are a team of dedicated volunteers, all either horse riders or carriage drivers. Our number includes riders and drivers of international experience, the Chef d’Equipe of the British Endurance Team, current and ex endurance competitors, Le Trec enthusiasts, and a huge array of equestrian experience in general.

We are not especially competition oriented, mostly we just like riding and driving, but having all these folk on board means we can speak with authority on your behalf.

Who we work with

We have some 200 members, and we work closely with all these official bodies, to bring you a continually improving equestrian facility –

The Forestry Commission

Severn Trent Water Authority

Powys County Council

Welsh Tourist Board

Antur Dwy Afon for the Welsh Development Agency

We are here for the long term and we intend to keep on delivering an improving horse riding and carriage driving experience for all the horse lovers who want to come and see what we can offer them.

We intend to make the Dyfnant and Vyrnwy the prime equestrian location in the country.

A web-site on its own usually isn’t enough. We are here for your benefit, and we’ll be happy to tell you more – Click here to find out who to phone or write to.
