Dyfnant & Vyrnwy Riding and Driving
This really is unspoilt country! Mid Wales is the hidden jewel of Welsh recreational potential.
The Dyfnant and Vyrnwy Horse Riding and Driving Association exists solely to work with the Forestry Commission and other agencies to bring you a riding and driving experience you will not find anywhere else.
A visit to Dyfnant and Vyrnwy gives you –
- Enough riding and driving for a morning, or several days. You choose.
- Specially prepared and maintained riding and driving tracks. Some hard, some soft and green.
- Riding and driving through the forest, as well as up “on the tops” with fantastic vistas.
- Riding and driving around and above one of the most beautiful lakes you’ll ever see.
- A matrix of tracks which you link up in the way that suits you, to give you the riding or driving experience you want.
- Easy access for horse boxes or trailers.
- A specially built “easy-in/easy-out” car and lorry park.
- Round corrals for you to prepare your horses in safety and ease.
- Strategically placed natural stone mounting blocks.
- A “Headquarters” building with plenty of information available.
- The most willing team of volunteers who’ll help you all they can. Or you can just be completely independent. It’s up to you.
